Kate Truitt, Ph.D., M.B.A. is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist working in private practice in Pasadena, California. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, a Master of Arts in Psychology, emphasis in Psychophysiology, and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration.

Dr. Truitt is a specialist in the treatment of both psychological trauma and eating disorders. She has dedicated her life to studying, researching, and healing individuals struggling with these life threatening difficulties as well as the co-occurring disorders such as depression, anxiety, addiction, impulse control disorders, and personality disorders. She also incorporates her training as a neuroscientist to inform the process of healing and help demystify the processes leading to the development and continuation of the client’s presenting problems. Dr. Truitt’s goal is to honor the unique and dynamic nature of each client in order to facilitate effective, efficient, and empowered healing.
