Dr. Jeanne Clevenger
I am a licensed clinical psychologist located in Pasadena, and a doctoral graduate of Azusa Pacific University. My passion – and primary role as a therapist – is to help facilitate healing, transformation, and empowerment for individuals and families in the community. I approach my clinical work with empathy, authenticity, and hopefulness. My therapeutic style is highly collaborative, flexible, and holistic, embracing an integrative approach that includes CBT, ACT, family systems, and relational psychotherapy techniques. I am experienced with treating a variety of psychological issues in children, teens, and adults, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and family/relational problems. Prior to private practice, my training and work experience was primarily in a variety of community mental health settings, working with children, adolescents, families, and adults in diverse, multicultural environments.
I have a special interest in maternal mental health, including pre- and postpartum depression and anxiety. In addition, I love to help adults improve their parenting effectiveness and explore identity issues related to their current family dynamic.
