I am a psychologist specializing in the treatment of adults, children, teens, and families. In working with adults, I help people handle life transitions, improve relationships with loved ones, overcome worries, sadness, and destructive habits, and build confidence. I am up-to-date with current research in treating depression, anxiety, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder, and adult ADD. In working with children, I help with ADHD, behavior problems, self-esteem issues, coping with major life transitions, and fighting within the family. If your child acts-out, seems distractible, or needs someone to talk to during difficult times, I can help.
My approach starts with forming a relationship with you or your child. I work to be flexible, meet your needs, and provide a personal experience. As a former director at Tom Sawyer Camps, I bring a playfulness and friendliness that kids and teens respond to well.
I also conduct cutting edge social skills groups that help children fine-tune their ability to make and keep friends (see below). Additionally, I conduct formal testing of children and adults to identify ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, or obtain a more accurate diagnosis. For more information, please visit my website.
